  1. A couple of weeks ago there were several "reports" on Pokernews, p5's, etc that Lock would re-open to U.S. players "within the next week."
Got me all psyched up, downloaded Carbon and Lock, and so far nothing.....Anyone know anything?

    What a tease !
  2. I'm hearing that it's still going to happen in about a week, but who really knows.
  3. At this point it really is anyones guess.

I like to think it is going to happen, but any specific date at this point is a guessing game.
  4. Someone pointed out in another thread that it seems like all these reports have been a little off lately.

  5. I hope it happens soon... I told all the brick & mortar players where I play live in Manch that Lock poker will be reopening registration so trying to spread the word to get more traffic on there..

I was grinding Monday afternoon, and my 16.50 2,250 gtd table was like 8 regs 1 random... felt like a sunday mulligan table or some bs... not cool bro, not cool.

  6. Yeah unfortunately I missed the window after Black Friday when it still allowed us to set up new accounts, and now I'm champing at the bit to get on there...... Hopefully it happens soon, maybe we can get an update from Rizen or Stout or anyone else affiliated who may be "in the know" ??

  7. P5s has been getting information from pretty credible sources at Merge, but it just hasn't panned out yet. I've tried to follow up with them for more clarification about when they'll take new US accounts again, but haven't heard anything concrete.

  8. Thanks for the reply Dan. Do you have any knowledge of whether certain states will still be unable to create new accounts even once U.S. is reopened? Or are all 50 states good to go once the U.S. is unfrozen ?

  9. I'm not sure. I know Washington State has a pretty harsh law making online poker illegal.

  10. Merge had stopped user's from New York before they stopped accepting other US sign ups. I would assume they won't change that when they do start accepting new US players.

  11. Yeah the Wash State thing happened well before black friday but I guess toxic's news article confirms the bad news..... Wonder why that is? Merge choice or NY State law?
