  1. Just as the Title says:

  2. Maybe its just me but I would be very cautious depositing money on these lesser known and trusted poker sites that still allow US players. I'm afraid that they start taking all these deposits from US players, then of course shut down just like stars/FTP/UB but instead of honoring all the money like Stars/FTP/UB they just say "oops, sorry, US Gov. took your money, not our fault, later bye"

As with everything poker, it's a gamble. I didn't have to decide whether or not to deposit b/c I already have dollars on cake.
  4. can anyone confirm if CarbonPoker is allowing US and people have actually joined and deposited within a day or two?

how is the SNG/Tourney variety and volume there? From this other website it says the rating 2/10.

Generally speaking the smaller sites have crappy mtt sng fields. This means there probably won't be many options for sng mtt players until this whole mess gets resolved... or until there is a mass transfer to cake poker or somewhere.

  9. With Carbon the MTT schedule seems to be fairly solid, much more then Cake. I'd probably say kind of equal to UB/AP. Haven't looked into S&G's yet but they seem to have good cash table line up with a good Bad Beat Jackpot. Was also easy to upload money utilizing Visa.

you used your Visa card to deposit on there?
  11. Yup... they had a little extra step for security that I hadn't seen with other sites, worked fine, fast and no issues. Just did $100 so I wouldn't have a lot invested if something happened and gave me enough to grind micro MTT's and get a feel for the site itself.
  12. Yea I downloaded Carbon and took a look at it and I dont mind the site looks and runs well also has some cool features. Going to deposit on there and see what happens. thanks for some of yalls info. And yes it is a gamble to try out Carbon poker but what else are we gonna do ya know...

  13. rakeback available on carbon poker?
  14. According to the rakeback page on here... yes
  15. I joined Lock poker today. It downloaded fine and I was able to load money on the account very easily with Visa. I am a low limit grinder that plays mostly OH and O8 mtt's. There is around one every couple hours with only two guaranteed purses, kind of brutal but I am playing. The HE schedule looks ok but I am honestly not one to judge that arena.

I was going to join Carbon (Merge Gaming) but was curious if all these sites play off the same tournament list? Would they even allow me to if this is the case? ...thanks in advance for any help in answering these

  16. which deposit option on carbon is like the instantechecks option on ftp?

  17. I put a couple of bucks on Carbon Poker today. Ez. They are Mac compatible. The field sizes and guarantees are small but they will prolly grow in the coming weeks...

  18. I deposited $50 on Carbon yesterday. I sat straight down at a .25/.50 6max table. I had around $110 after about an hour. Took a break and came back a few hours later and ran it up to $320 in a like 2 hours. Carbon poker is better than no poker IMO. Might try a few tourneys tonight and let you know what I think.
  19. i'm more curious to hear about withdrawing than i am depositing
  20. For people that have cashed out of Bodog, Carbon (Lock), and Cake.... Does it say something bogus on your bank wire cashout you receive like "Taiwan Golf Clubs - $1000" or is it legit and you can tell it's coming from Bodog. If you can't even tell then these sites are probably commiting the same fraud tilt and stars were.

  21. With Cake I always just got a check and have never had one issue with them. Just deposited one last Tuesday which cleared and never charged back.

$15 is better than not being able to withdraw at all.
  27. On cake now. probablly wouln't use a credit card or bank acct to fund it though. I western unioned 250 to help with the withdrawals. live poker sucks by me and i don't give a shit if i ever see this 250 again. software isn't too bad

HEM (or any tracking software for that matter) is not allowed on cake network. I'm not sure about Merge.
