My Merge hands track on HEM, but the HUD doesn't pop up. SNG results pop up there. Cash game hands get recorded. But no instant gratification ;)
-
Heh, yeah I would def assume if it's tracking then the HUD will work. Closing and restarting HEM usually works for me when the HUD won't come up.
FYI for those of you jumping on Merge, I IMed a friend of mine yesterday who is an affiliate with Merge and was trying to get me to sign up with them before this all happened and I asked him if Merge was going to be sticking around for US players and his response was, "Get your money out now imo." Not trying to scare anyone, but the fact that someone who stands to gain from me putting money on the site didn't even answer that as a "yes" or "no" seemed pretty telling to me. Do what you want, only one person's opinion, but just putting it out there. -
I just asked another friend that plays on Carbon (also merge network), and he said same thing for him. Curious as to whether PT3's HUD works there or if Merge delays the hands being imported until after you leave the table. Will have to look next time I am playing to see if anything is being loaded up live in HEM or not. Seems to be the only logical explanation as to why the HUD wouldn't work, but I am getting stats and results to analyze.

I am usually playing simultaneously on another site if I am playing on Merge. The HUD works fine on the other site (i.e. party/FTP/PS/PS.fr). -
Edited By: barryg1983 Apr 19th, 2011 at 10:40 PMThat's probablly the case with all these sites. These sites should set up wu and moneygram for cashouts. That can't be illegalOriginally Posted by CP_MagiciaN

i was thinking about joining lock. can US players cash out from there? if yes do you think it will last?
-
My two cents - nobody saw the FTP/stars thing happening, so I would not be surprised to find any other site open to US players today to be closed tomorrow. Don't be treating your poker accounts as bank accounts. Leave only what you need on the site to play, and if you lose that money, simply deposit again.

I'm playing on Sportsbook, which is a merge skin, and my HUD is working perfect using PT3. I'm trying to get my account on Carbon funded, but I'm having issues. If/when I get Carbon working, I'll update you.

Thanks Tyson, I have PT3 on this computer, just haven't used it in a long time. Will give it a shot.

Edited By: msc Apr 20th, 2011 at 04:25 PMMany Top Poker Sites Still Accepting Players
While a number of the major online sites have bailed out of the United States market, pending legal issues, some of the other top online sites in the world are still around and accepting Americans.
1. titan poker
Titan Poker is one of the top poker sites in the world and part of the iPoker Network. With tens of thousands of online players at peak hours...
Note: Titan does not accept US players.

there are other deposit options. i signed up thru ingenicard.com and just had my checking account veried so i can deposit thru there without having the card..also there visa card processor was down due to technical problems had nothing to do with black friday!. according to them -
for bank transfers bodog used to do the same sketchy thing that pokerstars and others did with the weird name. I checked today and bank transfers were possible but all of a sudden only for amounts over 2500.
-
no they are not the same..each have different tournaments etc
-
In that list of US facing sites, before that laughable inclusion of titan is CardPlayer Poker, it is a subscription based service and as such completely legal in the USA, there are others also like Club WPT where you can win seats to live tournaments, so have you US players thought about that as a playing option just while problems with other sites are getting resolved?

Edit : I should also mention NoPayPoker, they are advertisement supported (a small fee gets rid of the ads) and you win their version of chips but once reached a certain amount you can exchange them for real money paid via paypal. -
There really isn't one. Unless you want different names so that people don't recognize you as easily.

Not true. Same tournaments and tables. I was playing on Players Only yesterday against people playing on Carbon. -
$15 fee huh...so I should make sure to at least cash out $16 at a time to make some profit lol.
