    rakeback Rebate/repayment to a player of a portion of the rake paid by that player, normally from a non-cardroom, third-party source such as an affiliate. Rakeback is paid in many ways by online poker rooms, affiliates or brick and mortar rooms. Many use direct money payments for online poker play. Brick and Mortar rooms usually use rate cards to track and pay their rakeback.

    rakeback..depends on play how much you play..the more you play the more you get back the higher you play the more youll get back..

    If you are already an active player on FT or another site do you have to create a new account in order to sign up for rakeback?
    For instance, I am planning on joining CardRunners and would like to get in on their promotional opportunities, however it appears that I must create a new account ID with FT in order to benefit from this program. Is this a correct assumption or have I overlooked something?

    Hey guys, we have stickies posted at the top of this forum with information on rakeback on existing accounts as well as how to sign up for rakeback here. Those are the best places to go for general information like what you're asking. In addition, we have an FAQ in the rakeback area of our site, which you can see by clicking here.

    If you have more specific questions that aren't answered in these FAQ's, please let me know. I can't really explain all of rakeback in one post, but the general jist is that as others have said, you get paid back a % of the rake you generate on poker sites each day, week, or month.
