Why are other sites (Bodog, Merge Network, Cake Network, etc.) still around?

    Do the people behind these sites not worry about being indicted? Will the DoJ go after these sites eventually? I'd like to play, but unsure of the future of these sites.

    Poker sites weigh the risk and make a business decision

    Players want to play & they are willing to offer the service. Generally, the players money is relatively safe. If anything happens to the site, you might have to wait some amount of time but you'll get your money back.

    Most poker players have sense enough to play with money they can afford to lose. Poker is a game of skill but there is risk of losing.

    If you have a life roll & poker roll; only play with your poker roll.
