I just signed up with Full Tilt, and because I'm getting bonuses, I believe I may be negative in terms of getting rakeback. Is this possible? That would suck that just because I'm getting a deposit bonus, I can't get rakeback...what would be the incentive of getting the deposit bonus?

Hi there,
You can be negative, but not strictly due to a bonus. You're probably negative due to deposit fees. This happens to just about everyone when they first sign up, unless they fund their account via player-to-player transfer. The deductions on Full Tilt that we know of include:
-Bonuses (bonus is deducted from MGR - so only 27% is deducted from rakeback)
-Deposit fees and withdrawal fees
-FTP Points spent ($5 per 1,000 points spent)
-Added money - you play in a tournament with added prizes, and those additions are divided amongst all players
All of these deductions are only taken 27% out of your rakeback, since they're deducted from your RAKE numbers. Hope this helps explain.

So, at my current rate, is there a way to kind of guesstimate when I will be out of the negative? thanks for the explanation btw.

I don't really have any information to make that sort of guess. If you PM me your Full Tilt name, I'll be happy to check on your account. Please include what games you're playing and how many hands per day. That'll make it pretty easy to guess.
