raise/get it in?
if he has 7s...gg..
don't see why u folding aa on that flop... -
In the spirit of the thread since the question was "can we ever fold?", the answer is no.
In a larger blanket, your focus is too narrow, I wouldn't shove either. I flat. It keeps total air in his range, and under-reps your hand so that when you eventually call down if he goes the entire way with it, he's value betting worse into you as well. -
Annoying spot because he should know you have a big pair here after the action preflop, yet he still bets out. I don't think a fold is bad at all but you are supposed shove here I think. Any past experience with the player would help though, if he might do this with 88,99 etc then I guess you have to shove.

Yes.
Everyone here needs to take a step back and ask themselves, what is he actually trying to sell you on here?
What 5X is he ever min-raising UTG and flatting a big 3-bet with a player behind him to act still? Basically none, and if he did and smashed the flop, then I guess he gets your stack and hats off to him.
If he has 77, why would this be his line?
He's basically repping an overpair, and since you have the "over-est" of the pairs, you're not ever folding ever.
Still think there's a case to be made for flatting turn here too btw... -
my thoughts exactly, why take this line and donk lead with 77 or a 5 ,although the end result was this 45spades!
