Whats the Biggest Cooler of your Life?
For me its when, Im playing at the electronic NL holdem tables, 1$/2$ cash game.
Iv'e chipped up to 500$, and so has one of the known fish(Villain). I see the flop (along with 4 others) with QJo from the big blind (villain is in middle position), after villain min-raised. The flop was checked around, and I bet the turn where the board is Qh9h4cQc. Villain calls, and everyone folds. The pot is pretty small here, 50ish, and I think villain is on a flush draw so Im praying for the Jack of Hearts.
River: Jack of Hearts. I have the "Nut" Boat, Im so Excited. I bet 30$, hoping for a raise. Villain calls. Dissapointment. These are the electronic table, so if you are the caller and youre hand is beat, it gets mucked. My eyes pop out of my eyes as I witness Villain's cards being turned over. I see the chips being moved over to him(110$ pot). WTF is going on. I look carefully. He has Th8h.
I now realize the guy had a straight flush. First of all, I didnt see the straight flush, so I woulda stacked off assuming there was no hand that beats me. Villain got 30$ from me when he could have got 500$. Which leads s to the mystery, why didnt he raise in position with the nuts? The answer is simple, fish dont raise, they call. He knew he had a strate flush because afterwards he got up to ask casino staff if theres a promotion for strate flushes, they said no.
Side note: Later on that day, I have AQ of Diamonds, Tight Payer has K7 of Diamonds, Loose PLayer has 23 of Diamonds. Flop is All Diamonds. GG both of those guys. -
no badbeat jackpot on that hand?

playing online last year, $1-$2 NL. I get AA, raise it up. Flop comes AdAc3d. Before the action even gets to me one player raised the other guy goes all in, I call, and the original raiser calls as well. They both had flush draw, one guy had 2d4d, the other guy had KdJd. needless to say the 5d hits the river, lol - I didn't even know why they were pushing the pot away from me at first, I was like wtf?

Not way this bad but pretty bad. $1/2 NLHE at Foxwoods after busting out the shootout. New player sits down at table, buys in for $100, posts make up blind and is dealt in. I have AKo in mid position and raise to $15. Everyone but new guy folds, new guy calls. Flop A-2-2. I bet $20, he calls. Turn K I bet $25 he calls. River 3 I go all in. He calls and flips over 2-3o. Everyone disgusted and he says: it was the first hand, I wanted to play. Later on I got it all back though... PS should I have played the hand differently? Did I overbet pre?

if this was a cashgame on UB: congrats with your bad beat jackpot. How much was it?

This one didnt happen to me but I watched someone pull it on another guy.
Around the bubble of a 10$ 18 ot 27 man SNG, cant remember which. Buddy with AA raises 3x pre, bb calls, flop TTx, buddy with aces bets, other guy shoves allin, buddy calls hoping no T I guess. Guy turns over TT. OBV turn A, river A for the worst statistical beat possible .1% to win lol. THat'll put your nuts on ice.
