Edited By: zephyr Jan 19th, 2012 at 03:12 AMThank you. I received my check by FedEx yesterday. I'm satisfied, but I have to say it was a little confusing. It was just a check in an envelope. I actually didn't even realize what the check was for until I came here for an update and it hit me. I spent my lunch today calling all over trying to figure out who sent me a check out of the blue. It all makes sense now.Originally Posted by Bovada Service

This "Right after a withdrawl" phenomenon has happened to me several times in the last few years. This is partly because of Ego and the rest is simple common sense. Downswings follow upswings by thier very defiinition they have to.
What bodog doesn't realize is they are doing nothing to limit withdrawls. Every tournament has 1 winner 1 person comes in second, 1 comes in 3rd....etc. Whoever accumulates the money will withdrawl no matter how good or bad they are. I would be willing to bet that withdrawls have increased not decreased. This is based on BF and the perception of risk based on annonimity and cheating. People will keep less BR online for these reasons. I would be willing to bet my BR on this (If anything was trackable on the site). -
I assume you have read that Bovada's intent with the new changes is to run off (get rid of) winning players that withdrawal too often. They they have made the changes with the INTENT to attract "net depositing, recreational players". That's their words, not mine! I see that as a clear admission that they "rig" their games for a desired outcome! But you and I both know that reality is, someone (or something) is going to win! And it stands to reason, if they are successful in attracting a majority of "net depositing, recreational" players, then it should be a gold mine for better players. A virtual "fish bowl", right? So, what other actions can they (will they) take to limit withdrawals? Because guys like you may have downswings but a shark in a fishbowl? Come on, pretty quickly you eat up all the fish and find a new bowl. But if they tweaked the RNG just a little bit, perhaps they could move all or part of your BR around to the little hungry " net depositing" fish.
Their whole line of new bs is a joke. But I believe they are serious about their intent to make Bovada a site where players just basically swap dollars and BRs. And I don't believe the cosmetic changes alone will accomplish that, do you?
Na, if it looks like sht, smells like sht, it's probably some sht. -
Wouldn't making the "Net depositing" players lose require them to keep depositing more than rigging it for them to win?
