ever feel like some days you take a rougher beating than others? i feel like today and one day a few months ago were more painstaking beats than other days... i just railled time and time again when ahead. le sigh.

I think everyone has one of those days/weeks/months.

oh wait. yeah, i know what you mean. usually the variance goods are very good to me, but i think theyre making up for years of not giving me too many bad beats in the past couple years.
if you play cash, try tournies, if you do SNGs, try MTTs or cash. been keeping me going through my hellish week.
also, drop levels. does wonders for confidence. nothing like dropping and simply being given chips because youre so used to at least a little challenge. -
ugh yes, indeed. had a really bad couple of months earlier this year. I think I lost 8 or 9 80/20s back to back. not doing so great today either, but it will always even out eventually. I have to tell myself that all the time, since nobody in the history of poker has run as badly as I THINK I run, lol.
