I know there's a huge thread about it, but it's not on the front page and I haven't heard anything in a while. Also, I have a security key for my account...I think you need to get a new one every few years...by the time we are even allowed to access our accounts, we won't be able to access our accounts.

I heard that if you accept email from administrators and create all the shortcut links on your computer you dont get rivered as much

E.g I'm in the big blind with a2. Donk shoves 100 big blinds I have 100 bbs too and this is a mtt 1000 players, I'm playing ftw don't care about getting into the money. If it's folded to me should I call? In general if I survive to the late stage of the tournement I'm likely to successfully outplay alot of players. So my first goal is to make it there with a stack around 20 bb plus. If a 60/40 gamble right to take at this early stage?
-
Just wondering, but what would your reasoning be for ever calling there? Coin flips are never a good spot to be in the early stages of a tournament
-
i think your aim should be to find the guy whos willing to call off 100bbs with a2, wait for a hand and take his chips..

I try to avoid big flips usually but surely u understand what hes saying, what if we change it from A2 to like AQs ? are people willing to take the risk early on to double up and have a better chance in the tourney ? or do you feel theres enough of an edge over the fish that you dont need to put your tourney life on the line early on ?
-
some do this with AA! if i see somebody do this with like any suited ace or bad hands in general then i like to call the 100bb. could imagine that some will disagree there, but if it's a daily tourney i do it, since AQ dominates a good part if a shoving range there. why u guys keep saying that it's a flip most of the time? biggest part of a 100bb donk shoving range are aces and pockets. even if u take suited connectors in this range ure just completely crushed with A2.
just checked it in pokerstove, someone who shoves 55% of all hands will win over 50% against A2o -
I like to see more flops and stuff with hands like A2 suited in poistion earlier in tournaments. But only for cheap. Not a good hand or spot to gamble with in my opinion. I would probably call with AQ suited though for a gamble.

Event #5 just now JJ vs 99 on 8632 board he tank-calls pot-sized shove for 25k on turn binks 9 on river sigh out 80th of 419. Great structure/staff tho

Made a pretty deep run in Event 1. 200 or so left, about 130 cash. Had 30k and blinds were 500/1000. Limp with QJ suited, several other limpers. Board is J44. Bet 2k, everyone folds except a loose old dude. Next card is an A. I check, old dude bets 3.5k. I call. I check river dark and it happens to be a J to give me my boat. Villain bets 6.5K, I shove and of course he flips over his quad 4s. So sick.

Not tryin to be a smartass but u need to hire a coach/watch some training videos. You played preflop and every street pretty badly there.

What would have been the optimal way to play that hand? I was UTG +2 on a super limpy table. I had 30K and Villain had 40K and was in MP.
