How are these shoves into 5 stacks profitable? Granted we each had roughly 15bbs. FWIW, we're not near any bubbles. Can someone post some numbers so that I can see how this is profitable? I tried using PS, but it doesn't seem to work for this situation or I'm not doing it correctly. QJo is obviously ahead of one random hand, but how do the numbers change with the increase of random hands? Meaning is there a drastic or slight decrease? Seems like a spewy play to just pick up 2.5 blinds, but obviously djk owns. Thanks.

I think he probably would, I do agree that it seems like a really unneccessary play with QJ...basically open shove with a marginal hand theres no reason for it at all.

most of the stacks behind are JUST above the amount of bbs necessary for DJK to make a call with any two broadway cards
instead of having to fold to stacks such as those, he elects to take the aggressive route and pick a hand that has pretty damn good equity against all your calling ranges -
is this why its easier to beat high stakes than the micros?
-
Alright, i just noticed that the larger stacks at the table folded infront of him and it makes alot more sense now lol.

fwiw I believe djk would make the same play w the top of his range, as well as a lot more of his range than QJ here
-
i've seen djk open shove this type of stack w/ AA

And I do understand that you can't raise fold. Seems like a standard raise would have a lot more "strength" to it vs an open shove.
but honestly do you think djk doesn't know that he has to balance his range??? -
this is such a fucking easy shove
