Please someone tell me that I'm insane for believing that doomswitch is real. I'm getting it in good a million times and getting 1,2,3 outted like it's nothing. I have been consistently losing races (I know, it's "standard," but at some point losing 90/100 flips stops feeling so standard), losing AA to AK and A7, KK to AK, overpairs to sets, several runner runner losses. Going from chipleader to out of a tourney in three hands is getting annoying. Sorry for the whiny post, but I am kind of losing my mind with poker...and I'm going to Vegas for the WSOP with the worst attitude toward poker.
Does anyone else feel like sometimes you're just set to losing mode online no matter how you play?

it's real if u want that with all of ur mind and body.

BS I take time off all the time and they still hate me
-
i've been in the same boat for the last 3/4 days. it is killing me!!
fuken donks pusing their AK in on the turn with nothing and hitting all the time!
im getting over online very quickly. -
really?
-
being doomswitched for 3/4 days means you have like 7 antidoomswitches turned on
-
I started to cheer for the other guy to make his hand...and it seems to be working...throws the doomswitch off FWIW.
-
get it in bad imo
-
Were you doomswitched last month, the night you won $10,000? Or a couple months earlier when you shipped the $50k GTD? Dear pokerstars, please doomswitch me like mmmwawa.
Seriously, I've gone from CL to busto in 3 hands also. Play long enough and youll suck out 3 times to win. hth
Edit: Realizing this is a level. -
Getting it in bad is the best suggestion I've seen. That's the most frustrating thing to me - the better you're playing, the fewer the opportunities to suck out. You'll get it in good and you'll take bad beats. I was playing much worse the first big score I got - I should've gone out in 7th, but sucked out for the chip lead. I'm not saying I've been doomswitched forever - I'm saying that for the last month, I've depleted 70% of my BR playing (what I consider) pretty solid...with short bouts of COMPLETE mind loss and higher buy ins to try to satty into the WSOP ME.
I feel like I used to get rewarded for playing slightly worse, and now I'm getting killed when I feel like I'm playing better and thinking more clearly. Trapping somebody into shoving JJ into my KK feels great...until the J on the river kills my soul a little each time.
I don't kick puppies. I recycle. I'm kind to the elderly. So, pokerstars, if you are listening, please take me off Doomswitch before Vegas. Tyty. -
I have a feeling that poor BR management skills are the <strike>primary</strike> only villains here. Hate to see a fellow law school survivor go busto b/c of something like that. Time off and dropping DOWN a level might help.

i feel ur pain, it drives me fuckin insane too bro.
