  1. When you KNOW that they will river their flush, or catch that 1 or 2 outer? I have been keeping score, and its running 8 out of 10 times my "oh shit, here comes the _____" to ko me again. Its not a bad beat story, just a observation.
  2. think positive and have faith in your odds
  3. I won a $1 donkament on stars a while back that had like 3000 people in it and everytime I got all in I asked for their card to hit. Went something like K K K give them the damn K cmon K K K yesssssss NO K.
  4. ummm faith, well that I dont have. I have done some research into ESP lots of wacky stuff, some serious but there seems to be something to it, hey maybe it would explain why some people just run "good" A LOT.

  5. As Doyle Brunson says: “But in the rare situations when all your card knowledge and best judgment leave you in doubt, go with your strong feeling… and not against it”.

  6. I always wonder what sort of answer the OP is looking for when they ask. Do I buy into that there are some strange coincidences? Sure (I'll say once, I had Pocket Queens preflop, and my 3 year old nephew (who just came over to say hi) looked me dead on and said, your going to lose). I chuckled. I lost the hand, the other guy had KK.

There are situations like that that make you wonder, but I think you really have to play your odds 99% of the time. If you know your head is on straight and something isn't adding up, then, yeah, go with your gut (I think sometimes that's just your subconcisous picked up on something). But, if you are an 80% favorite + to win a hand, you can't throw it away because you think you can sense what's coming. It's actions like that that begin the 'I've been running horrible for 6 months, barely even winning a hand'.
  7. iuf you really want to think far out shit

the cards are generated by a computer program
computer programs run on electrical currents
electricity is a form of energy
thoughtwaves are a form of energy (or something)
and travle atthe speed of light

    therefore... thoughts influence it somehow

I've called for cards intensely and seem they come..
and i've also (when running bad) expected to see the beat, and it comes

i treat all of this with skepticisim, obviously, but i always surprise myself at how often it comes (bad or good)
