    Just need a place to vent.

    So I have always played low stakes (usually 10 buy in) MTTs and the donks just piss me off to no end. so decided to play the 55 for the first time today figuring the play would atleast be not vommit-enducing. well aparently not.

    I think his raise shows you a lot. Just think about what hands he could possibly raising with there, and what he might put you on. This early in a tournament, calling off 85 chips to potentially take your stack if he hits something huge seems pretty standard.

    But the daily 80k is a pretty good tournament, there are plenty of bad players that will give you their chips just like the lower stakes tourneys, just be patient and you will get your big score.

    this is not a bad beat whatsoever. u raised 80 with aces.. simply put, u put ur money in ahead (90 chips) vs him (3000 chips) when he was a huge favorite. if u wana just shove in with aces do it pre flop. all he did was call 90 to take 3000 of ur chips

    I know it wasnt a bad beat or anything... just wanted to post somewhere because I was on tilt and this seemed the best place to do it. I ended up getting up to about 10k after that but busted before the money. will play again.

    Edit to lou's post: guy didnt raise. i bet... he flat... another dude raised... put the raiser on midpair 88-10,10 shoved there... figured other villian had like A4 and would get out and id maybe get called down by pair. oh well.

    GNR, the 55$ tourneys on stars have a TON OF HORRID players in them. i was once a 10-20$ mtter figuring that i wouldnt waste my time in the 55s since if people are pyaing 50$ to play a mtt online then must be somewhat good so there wouldnt be much edge.... i was SOOO WRONGGGGGGGG..... once i took a fwe shots and realized hwo bad people still were i never stopped playing them.. the 55$ are my favorite mtts on stars now ... and i play the hand the exact same way u did and go broke exactly like u did. wp

    Cool thanks. I look forward to playing more 55's - i just need to boost my roll a little bit before I can play them regularly.

    if you are a solid poker player that beats 10-20$ mtts u are probably +ev in this tourney .. just gotta be willing to lose 50$ for taking a shot

    Flop:

    Me (AA) Bets 90.
    villian 1 (2,4) Calls 90.
    villian 2 (put on pair 88-10,10) raises to 322 or something.
    me... goes all in thinking mid pair guy will call.
    villian 1 obv ships with trips.
    villian 2 folds.
