At the time of the hand I was sitting in 2nd place in the Oyster with 26 players remaining. Within 10 hands of this I was out 22nd.

Yah, and after the turn he had over a 20% chance of taking it, which illustrates why this is such a terrible time to slowplay.

Why slowplay this turn? The only conceivable hand that's paying you off is the Q - why not bet and find out if it's out there now? What's going to come on the river to make someone a 2nd best hand that they don't already have on the turn?

If you think someone's going to pay you off with two pair or a set, bet now before they river a full house or quads and bust your ass.

Lesson learned.
