Sure, I could have played this differently. I could have just raised on the flop and possibly ended the hand there. At the time, I believed he would bet the turn if I called on the flop. When he opened pots, he was c-betting nearly every time. I know this isn't too bad of a beat (I know I'm around a 2 to 1 favorite). After the hand, I said nice play to him (being sarcastic of course) and his response was "thx if you had made a smaller raise i would have folded i thought you were bluffing."
