Help from any 1 that has been on a seriously bad run

    So title says it all i dont know how to explain what the hell is going on but ive been on the worst run ever since playing poker all this year Im usually a winning player online and live but this year its just gone downhill and i dunno how to get out of it in the past i could use the excuse like online so much variance but when you cant even cash 40 player fields live then theres somet wrong getting it in good time and time again and being sucked out on.
    im not playing any different so i dont understand it !
    And another question can certain people be bad luck when a mate of mine is with me live or online i get screwed more than ever.
    and this mate of mine is beating the games i used 2 !!

    If you're playing on Lock than forget about it. There's no hope of ending your run bad no matter what you do. Wait for laws to change than come back, or, wear foil on your head and eat garlic.

    I do not know but i am also running as bad as i thought poss every time i have kk some idiot calls my 4 or 5 bet shove with 99 and ever time he hits a set of nines and im out in 30th place for 4x buy in . I don't play for 4x i play for top 1,2 or 3rd not spend 8 hours for 4x buyins whats the point i know people say its not result this and that but i need to pay bills and feed 4 other people wtf can i do.I think i may have got to the point where i need to see real cards infront of me as getting pissed of thinking pokerstars hates me i had hoped to make a donation to a charity that means so much to me , i am running the london marathon but omg im running so bad il fall over evey few yards anyone wishing to sponser me i will be putting more info up and prove what im doing nearer april , happy new year everyone and gl at tables

    I've had the same problem @pokerstars for a while too. I often think "is the site rigged?" I dont think it is BUT.... Tell me its not possible to have a different program FROM Pokerstars on my computer that keeps me getting these incredible downswings in odds losses. I asked one time about the program installed on my computer. The next tournament I was in(3.30) I couldn't believe the cards I got.. After 1 hour I had 113,000 chips and second place had 23,000..Never saw it again or before. HELP....I dont want to continue donating to players logging more money, just a fair shot with my money and the same program everyone else uses. Whats up with this place?

    The most important thing is do you think you are playing your A game, or at least as close as possible to optimal strategy and adapting your game continually to these live players who can at times have really unorthodox styles. This is all that is important. If you feel like you're not, take a break and get your drive back you'll find you have better results.

    PS: I don't think you can have mates that can bring you bad luck unless they have something about them that tilts the hell out of you

    As I said I dont think pokerstars would risk any ideas of cheating their site do to the amounts of money every day. BUT I wonder what is on my computer from the times i've played? Any banking online leaves cookies. Why not Pokerstars? It would be so simple. And untraceable unless there is a way of deleting hand history and any cookies from them? I'd like a fresh start every time I play. I'm sick of watching the constant circles you see on Pokerstars. Beat by AJ offsuited when your Allin with KK with 3 times the chips as your persuer. It happens after a while playing but keeps me from cashing. I was doing well, took a withdrawl and I guess they want me to surrender the rest of whats left? It just makes that sick feeling in your stomach to think they may have done something underhanded and can't be proven. Varience doesnt make other people call with lesser cards and donk you out time and again. If I thought I was continually giving the right odds for them to call then watching Alex's videos helped me for a couple days and Pokerstars has a way of fixing that. Tell Me ...Do I really suck at this game or is Pokerstars making sure my bankroll doesnt grow?
