I don't think it's rigged, but I have seen some fkd up hands happen which at one point made me think there could be possible super users, that could see what board cards were coming (only the board cards not everyones hole cards like the pot ripper scandal on UB)

I'm gonna post these hands, feel free to check them out... I'm not a rigged theorist, but at the same time, with all thats happened in the past, and the current state of online poker, I don't think anyone should be austracized for claiming rigged cuz clearly it could be possible with the way poker is right now.

I'm not saying I'm running bad or anything like that, in fact, I have run very well on this site overall... I dont use HEM or PT so I have no idea how much above or below i am in all in pre flop EV... and like i said in my original post, I don't think the site is rigged, tho I have noticed some differences in the RNG. It may just be coincidence, and I may be a little supersticious too, but my stats in 1,400ish games played is completely irrelevant

  7. agree

not something you want to read about when you want to put more volume in online and improve your game. (shark with 1mill wins questioning the RNG)

I feel really disheartened that i didnt make the villian in any of these hh- sigh, time to break out 95 on the bubble and see what i can do.
  9. A site is rigged when it makes you bet KK into trup QQ, moron.
  10. Usually to run good on Merge, I go with a mixture of Tedstretched and ohScissorMe's strategy. For a while, I was doing this snap at the river thing and say "Boomshakalaka" if I needed a card to make me good. I could not believe how successful this was. I think it has something to do with my computer microphone picking up the sound and relaying it to the merge network which in turn caused the card that I needed to drop. It's really that easy. Sometimes I play naked deep in tournies too, just incase anyone is watching through my webcam. :~)

  11. LMAO at all this my main gripe is kk losing a SOLID 80% i prefer taking naps when im all in i need those 3 seconds of rest it adds up. Especially when they think about it thats like 10 seconds extra on avg.

  13. If it wasn't suited I would have more of an issue with it, but I've seen live players calling all ins with suited gapers who actually believed it was the right play because they read somewhere that pros play suited gapers.

  14. for those who think its rigged
    1. Buy yourself a real card deck
    2. shuffle and put 9 pairs of cards so you can see them open
    3. imagine that you are holding each of these hands
    4. deal 5 cards and enjoy how fct up this game really is.

do it 100 times and see how many bad beats each card will have
  15. It's funny, but for a while, I thought pokerstars would punish "aggressive" players (who went all-in after the flop), because whenever I did (AA, KK, etc), I would lose. But I change my mindset from looking at conspiracies, to figuring that if I went out, it wasn't going to be because I had crap cards.

Just an aside though, but I never thought pokerstars was "rigged", however, I believe it may be "scripted". The human element adds the extra difference. For example...if you had 9 players, an the following cards are dealt:

    Player 1: Js Jc
    Player 2: Kd Kc
    Player 3: 8h 8d
    Player 5 9h 10c

Now the "script would read that Player 5 would win, and the flop comes out:

    Jd 8c Ks

    Player 1 raises 2x
    Player 2 goes all-in
    Player 3 calls all-in
    Player 5 folds

The turn is a 2s, and the river is the Qc (which if Player 5 had called, he would've won according to the script).

So the script has changed because of Player 5 folding, and Player 2 wins.

However, if Player 5 had made the call, then Players 1, 2 and 3 would've been on the P5 forum that night saying the site was rigged!! :)
  16. That is retarded

so, in short, you think the outcome is predetermined and in turn, rigged?

I would have to say that the outcome isn't predetermined, because the human element is a factor. Whether or not it actually is scripted, I guess we'd have to know who programmed it? I remember one tourney (a Sunday 1/4 million), where 29,700 people entered. I ended up getting KK and went all in. A guy called with A Q, and the flop came out Q Q A, and I thought "I'm done". But the river card came out a K, which gave me a higher boat and I won the hand. Very dramatic, but alot of hands are "very dramatic". In real life, I'm sure the cards are a bit more mundane.

Well i'm convinced. stars is rigged.
  20. One time at the Bicycle Casino in LA I was playing cash game NL and I had 33 the flop came out A39. Dude raised I jammed he called. He flips AA. I am like "Fuck I'm done". Turn BAM 3!!!! Which gave me quads and I won the hand. Very dramatic, but alot of hands are "very dramatic". Online, I'm sure the cards are a bit more mundane.
  21. if the site is rigged, just make sure your non show down goes higher, easy fix.
