  1. How could you make this call? I don't understand what he thought he was ahead of. Naturally, the luckbox rivered me.

  2. Standard call, he has 600 already invested, and has to call 500 to win 2300, so he is getting good odds. Easy call.
  3. is this a joke?
  4. not about what he can beat only about what it costs and what he can win.
  5. How is it a joke?

If he expects to be at worst 60/40 to you, which is a fair assessment because with your stack, you are pushing ATC. It's 515 to win 2365 or 4.5 to 1 and since his call is at worst 1.8 to 1 underdog (if it's 65/35 for example), it's an easy call.

PS: When the flop comes down 53J, it is now 50/50. So not really a bad beat story.
  6. $55+$5 Hold'em No Limit

WOW, I really need to move up in stakes.
  7. thats probably going to be tough when your biggest scoreis 191$

    STANDARD CALL BTW
  8. Completely a standard call...he's pot committed to call your shove with any 2 at this point. This post is pointless.
