I've always been a winning player across tourneys, not a big winner by any stretch due the amount of games I have played and work life balance etc.

Over the last few weeks I've hit a massive cooler and been smashed by some tough beats however I now feel my game has changed on the back of it. Due to horrendous previous beats I am now going looking for opportunities when they really aren't there. I'm raising and re raising more in bad spots and I can't stop myself from doing it. I just feel constantly tilty at the moment and I can't turn the corner.
Whats the worst place you've been in in your poker experience and how did you adjust and turn the experience into a positive?
I've tried the Sklansky dollars method where if I get it in good but still lose be positive that I played ev+ but its no good having my bankroll being smashed to a million pieces but having imaginary millions in the bank.
Note : For those who don't know what Sklansky dollars are:-
Imaginary Money: Sklansky Dollars : G-Bucks
Sklansky dollars (or Sklansky bucks) is a mathematical concept coined by the clearly very-humble David Sklansky.
The origin of this concept is a bit of a mystery, although I'm sure it's from one of Sklansky's books. Either way, it's a very well-known concept that highlights how much money you expect to win on average from calling all-ins in Texas Holdem

bad beat spells and coolers suk. i go through hand history to c where i should have raised, called, or most importantly folded. i re-read certain chapters in my library books to c if i am playin certain spots wrong. most importantly i do a total re-eval of my mind state, my thought process and my overall understanding of how i played certain spots and why. doing all this i have found i didn't c being tilted or overplayin wired pair to a scary board that important till i found the leaks in it. what should or could of happened doesn t matter in poker! evolve!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree. take some time off and let your brain process refresh. get ur mind off of poker completely. play more patiently.. choose ur hands more precisely.. the way i see it is when ur in a tournament.. making any sudden moves doesnt make the game end any quicker. take ur time
