polecat....i remember seeing you around the table..prob ub. Your a solid player....I'm also a decent player and yes i agree that math doesn't work these days. I've been playing for a while and right now i can't even find a hand i like to play. Even AA is losing all day long beyond the first level. I hate being a hater but i've studied math my whole life. In addition i subscribe to pxf and study hands....oh its so easy when that QQ doesn't run into AA 8/10 times or the AA doesn't lost to TT every other time. I guess i only remember the bad hands although they seem to happen when it is worth something after the 2nd or 3rd hour. I am kind of holding hands for 300 chips early. I agree with you polecat....

There will be the select few who have run like god there whole life or are a pro. But for the avg player your time will come when the cards stop coming and stop holding. Just give it time.....

The moral of the story: You play often and for multiple years your time is fading. If you just started you will think its easy and deny things....then you will eventually understand when it happens to you. Oh how the sites need some higher power over looking them. Cause math no it doesn't hold.....but i only have 300k hands to prove it at the moment. I'm waiting to accumulate more before making the findings public.

Take a week off, play no poker and try not to think about it at all. Eat healthy, sleep well, or party your arse off. Come back (maybe at a site you haven't played at much or at all just to change the scenery up),play single table sng's following strict bankroll mngmt and ride the variance out and build a roll AND more importantly your confidence. Give the MTTS a break until your roll and your confidence are on the upswing.Good Luck. It's a very brutal game, when you shake off the ugly beats and ALWAYS play your A game you'll do better but those suckouts and 2 outers etc will always happen sadly. It ain't chess, there's gonna be luck involved and always remember the times luck swings your way.Hang in there, Michael
