these arnt horrible beats but a funny story:

i really want to play a tourny, i sign in my UB acccount and check what tournys are coming up (even though i know by heart).

i dont care much for turbo tournys because of the "pressure" i feel to chip up quick to survive blinds. but i want to play a tourny so i sign up.

2nd hand im in the big blind and have 5-8 suited, i check to take a flop. flop is 5-8-2, so i bet about 60% of pot, i get 1 caller, next card comes a 9, i then pot bet because there is a flush draw now, and the guy goes all in, well feeling the pressure im thinking high pp or A/8 or something, so i call and he shows 8-9, im now down to 55 chips.

i get moved to a diff table i get tripled up and now have 150 chips. i get A/K off on the button, UTG limps, everyone folds behind him and i push all in, UTG is only caller, he shows J/9 off and what does he do? He flops a Straight! LOL

afterwards i was like "hmmm i knew i didnt want to play that turbo."
