  1. Really curious what the odds are here.. could one of you savants break it down for me?..
(obv on river I figured I was beat but....) $7 27m PS
    Thanks in advance.

  2. I can only offer simple math with the known variables, so with the information we have, we know the value of 6 cards that are dealt. That means there are 15,180 possible flops and only 3 give a straight flush in diamonds. So 5059-1 odds that 3 diamonds will be dealt that gives 8oggo8 a straight flush.

As far as the odds of 3 players being dealt those hands in a 9 handed table, and then a flop like that? That's way beyond what I'm willing or even capable of determining, but it's probably at least 100,000-1 and more than likely, even more remote than that.

There are over 311 million combinations of dealing just 5 cards in an exact order,( 2.5 million combinations of five card sequences in any order) so trying to determine the combination of possibilities for an 18 card combination, and then figuring how many of those will contain 3 sets of suited cards with one of them being a gapped connector that ends up being a flopped straight flush, well, lets just say to calculate that one would need, high intelligence, a computer that can figure numbers that high, and LOTS of time. So I wouldn't hold my breath getting accurate odds on the probability of this exact scenario.
