Been playing a while and reading and practicing. Lately, I've been getting "Beatin up". Seems that when I play with good hands, someone just barely beats me. For instance, in a tournament, I had Q high flush (ace on board, Q in my hand). Figured there is only one card that could get me. The guy had it.
Another, 10s on board, had pocket 9s, nobody doing much betting. Lost to pocket JJ.
Another, you get the idea. ON all these bad beats I seem to be all in. Either I was raising with each card and was getting called, or slow played, nobody bet, and went all in at river.
Is this a sign that I'm getting actually getting better in my hand selection? I seem to always get just barely beat. In all cases, the "winner" never showed any evidence of having a hand. Just called or checked every card.
Any suggestions.
Thanks
