the neverending downslide

    any of u guys ever went through a downslide so bad that u sigh when u turn over a dominating hand because u know u are going to lose to a 2 outer set or the lower ace will hit his pair? give me some feedback on this, what the hell should i do? Even now when I get a stack in a tournament i expect to lose later on with the dominate hand such as AK<AQ. I know this sounds like a whiner type post or a "havent we all been though this" kinda thing but I have run out of options, I have even considered changing my game to the donkey style of play and trying to suck out on others. Give feedback to this post if you all dont mind, I have reached desperation, thanks guys

    GG life... Oh PD. Yeah variance is a bitch yada yada. play through, take a break, read some books, lock up the labtop for a bit, hit the gym. 2-3 months can and more than likely will happen.

    yeah it happens, negative thinking only makes it worse because you feel like you know the beats are coming. thats why you should just look away when youre all in. if you lose you lose, but at least you dont have to see what you lost to lol

    stay optimistic,,, shit happens buddy,,,, i tend to do better in poker/blackjack etc,,, when im optimistic,,, you cant win everytime..... if i play and im pessimistic i usually get what i am thinking,,, rivered,, outtered,, etc.. stay positive man and keep playing good and one day it will turn around,,, maybe go down in levels or play some play money tables till you get your confidence back, or take a break and enjoy life outside of poker for a few,,,

    Variance sucks and can lead to moments of insanity for the most stable players. Personally I dont tilt much at all but when i lose every fucking hand and dont cash in a single tourney over a 30 game tourney I go crazy... newayz good to rant... and dont worry too much variance works both ways. one day you cant win a fucking thing no matter how good u play and then other days you cant lose no matter how bad you play. The key to winning is not letting variance effect your game. It will unfortunately but minimise the impact.
