Playing in a small sake tourney tonight in Sydney and got dealt pocket 10's.Seen as there were only 2 other players in hand i only call big blind which was 600 (early stages).Flop was 3c 7s 9h.1st guy bets 3k,other guy calls,i look at both of them and i reraise 14k all in.1st guy folds and starts laughing while other guy thinks about it and calls all in for 11k.I turn over my pocket 10's and he show's Kd 2d.Guess what, king on the river which left me with 3k.
Blinds go up to 400 800 very next hand and i get Ad Ah.3 guys call big blind and i go all in with my 3k.One of the other guys reraises me by 8k all in and the other guy calls his reraise while the next guy folds.hands are shown...my aces vs 7d 7h and 9c 4c.I'm just shocked because its the same 2 f#@ks that were involved in the last hand and i can feel revenge.Flop was 3s 6h 5d turn was kh and i get stung by a 4 at the river which gave one of these ozzie a@#holes a straight.
Moral of the story........Ozzie blokes are as thick as they look but damn lucky -
Isn't is spelled Aussies?
-
ya a lot of the time it is but you can use the slang word "ozzies",why is this site full of smart asses or is it just that everyone here is under 12 years old?
-
Nope, you're wron....We are 13 years old, actually, and smart enough to know that they are Aussies.

The only tournaments I know of in Sydney are those at the pub. $10 buy-in (or something like that). The people who play are often just killing time, and many have never actually played before.
Small stake live games are looser and contains more donks than small stake online games.
