Quads Cracked, Definiton Of a Bad Beat.

    I was playing in Full Tilts 19.5k Guarentee 20$ Rebuy sunday. After a good 5-6 hours we proceeded to the final table. Started slow I was sitting around 6/9.

    After a good amuont of play its folded to the button Texas Lefty. He did a 2x raise or so, I flat called only to flop the nuts, I check. He raises roughly 3/4 the pot I flat call. Turn makes my STRAIGHT FLUSH I think I bet a decent amount he calls. River comes I lead out betting he comes over the top, I re shove and our chips are in the middle. He spiked a 6 on the river to hit quads, while my straight flush on the turn beat him.




    I ended up taking 3rd for 3850$, to my KK vs AA. Only 3 months of online play and my bankroll is looking good.

    Thats what I call a badbeat

    yep, been there, makes you want to vomit, i've lost on quads 4 times

    twice to a straight flush and twice to a better set of quads
