  1. I dont get a chance to play too much live anymore after moving back to the east coast but this scenario came up last night @ foxwoods and i thought it was so out of line and want some opinions from others that have had a chance to play live quite a bit? I was playing @ 5/10 NL and bout 2 hrs into playing ( I was playing pretty TAG) I had AA on the button. Early position raising to 75, 3 callers then a raiser late position raiser to 425. I push for roughly $1750. It fold around the the raiser of 425. He tanks, gives a speech about how hes run his Kings into Aces three times in the past week. He makes a crying call, upset that i have AA. Original raiser states, "Don't worry i think you'll win." Guy on my left wispers to me he folded a K4. I felt good then a K dropped on the flop and the d-bag who said the previous comment yells, "hell yeah baby I knew it was coming!" I walked away like a gentleman while the guy with kings kept apologizing stating he never lays them down. My question is I know i did the right thing by saying nothing but I see this alot on the east coast more than when i played at casinos out when i live in San Diego and LA. Anyone else think this is BS and what are your thoughts on this happening too often at a poker table? Sorry for the rant, had to vent somewhere...Obv bad beat section too so i am probably gonna get flamed haha. Thanks in advance! 1Entourage
  2. So whats out of line? The dude saying he thinks a K will pop?
It's not like what he said affected the action or anything, get over it.

  3. You were a gentleman, who cares what the other guy does. I mean it's tacky, but not a real issue. If it bothers you, then you're not going to enjoy live poker much anymore. In lousy $65 tourneys at the Taj people grandstand like they're on TV. Sorry.

  4. Don't kill the good karma you built by behaving professionally at the table by whining like a little beeotch here. He got excited that he sucked out. Meh it happens 1 in 5 times. No rules of etiquette were broken.

  5. edit...the guy making the comments wasnt even in the hand. the player with KK was cool about it all. Im not bitching just asking opinions.

  6. Once the action finished and the cards were turned up he can talk about the hand, he can call for the K, he can pretty much say anything within the rules of the casino. You only think it wasn't nice because you were the one with the AA.

Not a big deal, happens every day and like a stormtrooper on Tatooine said one time, move along.

  7. It was definitely the right move on your part.....not worth starting shit over. And its not as bad as when a player folds a hand and hits the table when the flop comes signifying they hit the flop good. Now that shit PISSES me off and its amazing how many times you see it.
