Theoretically, a downswing can last forever right?

    Even if you get it in 60-40 every time, you could still lose 100% of the time if you just keep landing in that 40% kill zone over and over. Theoretically you can run terribly for your entire poker career if the poker gods wished it so. How do you get run hot? Kill a baby otter? What kind of sacrifices do the poker gods like these days?

    No. It never lasts forever. Pick yourself back up and find your leaks. Work on your game more and get rid of the negative attitude. Problem solved.

    Why? It's not like it's a rule that it has to even out in the long run. You could, theoretically, flip a coin 100 times and get heads each time. It's not probable, but possible.

    Sure and all the blue color in the water can wander over the left 1/2 of the tank - it IS possible (LOL) you just may have to wait forever to see it. A few years back I had KK run into AA 100% of the time for a week - that does really BAD thing to your results - you can't be results driven and sane at the same time in this game :)
