  1. I was playing a $125 live n/l hold em tourney at The Orleans last week and ran in to the worst beat ever. But it wasn't all the player's fault. Heres what happened. There were 125 people in and we were down to about 40 players when there was a commotion at the table behind me. The flop had come2-9-j and player 1 went all in with j-q and player 2 went all in with j-k. The turn in and river came out and player 2 was declared the winner with jack's king high. the cards were mucked and the pot was being pushed when three players advised that the j-q hand had runner runnnered a straight. The dealer was unsure and half of the table was unsure. The pit boss paused the tourney to check the camera which I thought was honerable but i had never seen done before. He came back and advised the cards could not be made out on camera and after much debate he came up with this ludicris decision. They counted the pot down and it was about 27k. He then went to the cage and got out another 27k in chips and gave them to the loser so both players won the same. that is the worst call i have ever seen but to top it off. The loser knocked me out 4 from the money with a k-9 offsuit when I woke up with pockets aces and he flopped 2 pair. Now thats a true bad beat...
  2. TERRIBLE ruling, so so bad, especially where they have so many tourneys there
