1. Ive just spent the last 5 hours playing a $5 omaha h/l tourny with about 500 runners, I just got knocked out in 16th after going head to head with the chip leader with me in 3rd in chips and i end up getting a bad beat and now i have a measley $18 extra in my account!!!

I would of won more in a $5 18 man sng!!!(and would of only lasted an hour!!

    the payout structure is rubbish!

    lol wp.

EDIT: to actually add a bit of value to the thread. you have to get out of the mode of thinking of each tournament as an isolated event and look at it over a longer timeline. OPR yourself and look at your ROI, then give yourself credit for that ROI amount for each tournament that you play in your head if you have to.

  6. $3 buy-in, $3 + $0.30 Knockout on FullTiltPoker. 11/03/2009, 1 place for 438.00 I also disagree.
  7. then go play your damn SNG, MTT are awesome
  8. don't fuck with the chip leader
  9. The OP is true IF

you aren't playing to win, or place in the top spots. If you aren't 100%, then you might as well play a SnG or a cash game, since you are missing the whole damn point of MTTs.
  10. Yea, I feel that way when I lose sometimes. Then again, if I win it's sweet! haha

    +1
  12. I agree with OP considering the luck & time involved in MTT's I think payouts should be evened out more.I'm only playing small stakes yet but to play well for 5 hours and then get a pittance for beating 90% of the field is poor.
  13. tournaments, for people like me who suck at the poker
