Two outers on Stars

    I keep getting deep in tournies and sat's but it is almost a given that i will get AA or KK and will get in dominating a small pair only to loss to th PS two outer. Question is should i play these a certain way I've gone all-in preflop /raised usally 5+ the blind and all-in post flop and will get killed on turn or river. I am almost to the point of just mucking these hands and playing connectted or suited. I know they can get cracked but the odds are'nt working out. Any advise PLEASE HELP.

    I will give you advice since you are from Oregon. Im 99 percent certain you have not been in this situation enough times to be sure that the "odds arent working out". Just keep getting it in as a 4-1 favorite preflop deep in tourneys and I promise you that the odds will work out eventually. You must understand that there is incredible variance associated with poker, especially with MTT's. Embrace this, accept this, and keep getting in as a 4-1. Understan that if there wasnt this deviation from statistical probability, there would not be nearly as many losing players in the game.

    How can anyone help a person that is getting there money in 80-20??? 20 wins sometimes! That's like being able to bet the Redsox even money all next year....there going to lose a few in a row but you will make money by the end of the year!!!!

    I just fold everything anytime someone wants to go in preflop.

    Too much risk if you can't see a flop first.

    Try to play the hand in such a way that you dont get all-in PF and you dont see a river card. Try to win with these hands after the flop or on the turn..and dont shove em with 30,000 into a stack with 300,000...on stars if he calls with 2 blank cards you can hit leave table, its over.

    Thank u for your post. I quess what does not kill you makes you stronger, i cant wait for the deviation to deviate in my direction.
