While technically not a bad beat (you were behind pre-flop) - can you learn anything from this? What hand could houndboy been pushing with pre-flop? If you only call - do you get away after the flop at any point. When you can start to lay down AKo - it will be an important step in improving your game. As it's been described to me - AKo is a great drawing hand, but it's still behind 22 and only slightly better than 89s.

you make a good point.... i should have noted that i was waiting for a hand against him... he was crazy looooooose making huge raises every other hand and everytime it was shown down he was turning over junk... it was mainly a frustration post i cant seem to get a hand to hold when im ahead deep in a tournament, so it was just fitting we get in with the same hand and i lose lol... frustration, stars makes ppl crazy with their b.s...
and p.s. unless im retarded and not thinking this early, i was not behind preflop we were both about 2% to win and 95% to tie
