  1. I know online poker is not rigged, but I think God might just hate me. I realize people experience bad beats, it's part of the game, but the streak I am on is borderline "Let's give this guy 500 bad beats so he quits our site, because I hate his family." My overpairs ALWAYS get 2 outer'd, my pairs vs AK always get river aced.. I mean it's just bonkers. Should I just kill myself?
  2. I seriously hope the 'I kill myself' comment is an overreaction. If it is not, you need to seek medical help.

If the game is having this much impact on you, it might be time to consider trying something else, or at least taking an extended break.
  3. Sorry, it's an over reaction. But it just seems no matter when I play, I could get dealt AA vs a guy with no cards, and I would still lose

  4. I try to think of 2 things:

    1) Did I play this hand optimally? - which is a question to which the answer seems to always be changing. I recently saw a hand I played from 3 years ago and I just couldn't believe how terribly I played it. There was a raise and 3 calls and I flatted KK behind in the early stages of a tournament. Of course, I got brutalized and was pissed about it. Anyway, point is I always need to be looking for new information which is key to becoming a better player.

    2) Am I running badly? - I mean, it just happens. One day, you're going to lose every flip. Obviously it's super frustrating, but if you can't accept that it's part of the luck factor of this game, I think you're going to have a really hard time down the stretch.

If you are 100% positive that you are playing hands as best as possible, and still getting brutalized.. then you're just running bad. Which happens.

Anyways, my two cents. Best of luck.
  5. I see way more crazy shit live than online.........Rabo's reply is spot on though...used to drive me nuts but found an inner peace after going over hands and finding that I made the right plays and got unlucky........that gets you to keep grinding and making the same positive plays that get rewarded.......good luck bro.....go sacrifice a chicken to the gods of "running good"....that seems to help also....
