Hi,
Been playin poker about 3 years now. Havent had any real success, but havent played MTTs for over 5$ either (roll managment) But I have been very
passionate about my poker education, reading books, -forums, listening every podcast available, watchin every poker show out there, watching PXF
videos, reading poker blogs etc.
I have a dayjob wich is great both in money and opportunity and I have always considered poker as a hobby, but a very passionate hobby.
Im litterally Phil Hellmuth of online poker in terms of cryin everytime a get a nasty beat :) For them its just poker, for me its my #1 hobby :)
Cashed out 3 days ago and then all the drama started - insane bad beats - every 2 outer hit against me, 3 outer was normal etc. Have played about
500+ HU sngs and my ROI on those was 10% day before yesterday but it dropped to 6% within 2 days. And then went on a monekytilt and obv busted
it all...
And self-excluded myself from FTP for max, 6 months.
Anyways, feelin pretty low at the moment - all this work seems to look so freakin pointless. Poker is the only game where correct decisions
get punished like that. I really feel like this pain isnt worth it in terms of correct desicion and a outcome/result. Yeah I know u gotta
roll with the punches yadayada, but when u loose like that 30+ buyins, it all starts to look a bit degenerated. And it isnt my first time to have a swong like that. Im very dedicated and big
believer of hard work, but...its just not fun anymore.
Have u been in this point and how the hell did u make it back?! -
Know how you feel. I have been there a few times too but you just need to keep believing as it sounds like you are doing all the right things. A complete break helps me re-focus. I find too that a big win always seems to come when you least expect it. Hang on in there and you will re discover your love for the game. Good luck!

lol, u will def regret banning yourself for that long.
