lol any short stack that is so stupid to limp AA should never win a hand

I think he made the right play. When you're short stacked with a monster hand you want to get as much money in the pot as possible and take your chances that someone might out flop you. It's the best way to get back to a competitive chip stack. If you lose, so be it. If your hand holds up you can triple up or better and get back in it. Unless of course you're not really trying to win and you're content to survive as long as possible.
