    2-Umphrey's McGee - Division Bell
3-Glenn Hughes - Music for the Divine
4-As I Lay Dying - An Ocean Between Us
5-New Found Glory - From the Screen to Your Stereo: Part II
    6-August Burns Red - Messengers
    7-Still Remains - The Serpent
8-Reel Big Fish - Monkeys for Nothing and the Chimps for Free
9-Finger Eleven - Them vs. You vs. Me
10-HORSE The Band - Natural Death

EDIT: Protest the Hero comes out in November and should be awesome
  2. The only band I have ever heard of out of all of those is New Found Glory....

So I'm going to say your list sucks
  3. any list with new found glory on it is null and void.

still remains and as I lay dying put out some good records but thats about all that wins in your list, between the buried and me is good but not even a top 10 album in their genre this year.
  4. You don't know who 9 of the 10 bands posted are.

So I'm going to say you don't know shit about music and your opinion is worthless.

  5. your list sucks gtfo
  6. Ah...Record Store Manager, that explains it

Can't stand them, especially ones that try to give their opinion about music whenmaking a sale...

You truly don't know shit about music

So yeah I'm going with, your list still sucks
  7. Damn you caught me giving my opinion about music..... in a thread about opinions on music..... and then you gave me your opinion on music...... stating that you don't know anything about music..... yeah what was I thinking?

  8. lol @ the list....
  9. Hey that's great. See at the top where it says something about posting your top 10? Anybody else see that?

Goddamn you guys are a bunch of faggots.

  10. I think this list sucks too
  11. havent heard of any of the 10 guess im sheltered

  12. u have heard of I believe 2

but those 2 are not anything to call home about
  13. Your list is quite impressive. The contrast in genres, the way it spans the whole year even those albums that came out in January that some of us forgot about. Truly your list is a true top 10 for the year. Kudos sir.

  14. 10-HORSE The Band - Natural Death

what a name. cause with there musical instruments we might have thought they was insect exterminators.
  15. Normally I would post a list here, but when the OP is trying to make a post that is the 10 best albums of the year and he posts the most retarded list ever you just have to dismiss it.

You could name the thread "My very narrow minded favourite 10 albums of the year". When making a list like this you should have some subjectivity, choose some albums that genuinely shook up the music industry, that were incredibly successful for their respective genres or groundbreaking in some way or another. This list sucks, this thread sucks, GTFO.
  16. "EDIT: Protest the Hero comes out in November and should be awesome"

    A+++ Will buy immediately!!!!

And the following is in honor of fishamon, where the fuck did he go

  17. he was bant 4 a reason

  18. i dont know anyone on that list either but kanye west-graduation is up there along with common-finding forever and talibs ear drum was a good cd as well
  19. My list is narrow minded? plz explain that.

I have a couple metal albums, some radio rock, I don't even know what genre Umphrey's McGee is in, a solo album from a guy who was in Deep Purple. What's narrow-minded? Should I have thrown in Kanye/50 Cent/Aesop Rock/Common for racial diversity?

The thread is about <span>your</span> top 10 albums of 2007. I'm not writing an article for Spin, Rolling Stone, or whatever douchebag music magazines you read that use words like "groundbreaking" and refer to albums as "shaking up the industry." What exactly do you think is groundbreaking anyway? Neil Young's 8th album to come out this year? Some garbage Bruce Springsteen shat out?

It's funny that I'm the "record store manager" and yet you're the elitist music douchebag. Actually you all pretty much are. You'd rather slam someone's music selection than dare show one of your own.

We're up to how many replies to this thread and not one person has offered up an opinion on a single album other than what I enjoy. God that's pathetic and pretty much sums OT as being a giant waste of time. Just a bunch of asshole in a never-ending pissing contest to shit on people. And you guys aren't even good at it (this sucks, GTFO, etc. etc.)

  20. On September 18th, 2007, the band released their fourth studio album, Colors. The band has said that "it's a 65 minute opus of non stop pummeling beautiful music... we have described this release as 'new wave polka grunge'".[9] Elsewhere, they have also described it as "adult contemporary progressive death metal."

They have sold over 250,000 records in the United States alone.<SPAN title="This claim needs references to reliable sources since September 2007">[citation needed]</SPAN> Members of the band are also vegan, with the exceptions of Dusty and Blake.<SPAN title="This claim needs references to reliable sources since July 2007">[citation needed]</SPAN> –

From reading that....From your #1 album or whatever... I'm going to go ahead and pretty much verify that you are a ghey.
  21. 1 Nine Inch Nails - Year Zero

    2 Smashing Pumpkins - Zeitgeist

    everything else is crap
  22. not sure about top ten because im mostly into singles but heres a few i like.

    spoon ga ga ga ga

    M.I.A. Kala

    Kanye West Graduation

The Cool Kids (not sure of the album name it just came out)

    Feist The Reminder

I dont know, actually going to hastings and buying a cd is so foreign to me at this point. i did it for the first time tonight in loke 6 months (Aesop Rock's new album) and it felt strange. There are so many good deejays out now that have mix cds that are so much better than any one particular album that its hard to justify buying them.

  23. You do research, look through profiles, and use the word "ghey" to slam a top 10 album list rather than make your own like the original post suggests.

    I would say you're pathetic.

  24. Raiden, you actually sit down and listen to the junk today?

Lol, u obv don't know music then if you waste ur time with this crap now and days.

If you can point me to something better then Pink Floyd or David Gilmour Solo Albums, or some of Rush, Stones, Nugent, Zeppelin , Beatles, Beach Boys, etc, etc best stuff then I'll listen.

    WAITING!!!!!!!!!!

If not, these will satify just fine.
  25. Umphrey's McGee is sick seen them live a couple of times....
  26. Will have to check some of those out.

And don't worry about the random bashing you got in this thread, Raiden. There is a large percentage of extremely nerdy faggots in OT... you just gotta get used to them. That, or find a music forum to post your list (you'll obv get a better and more educated response anyway).

    Take your pick.

  27. hey skippy....guess what...they finally have color t.v. dude..check it out...yes some movies are good in black and white but seriously...its mind boggling..

  28. Not one mention of Radiohead. It's pretty good IMO. Inovative release also which will certainly put it down as great albulm of 2007.
  29. So your saying that music gets better with time?

    now that is mindboggling
  30. haven't really listened to between the buried and me yet but chatta told me it's a sick album so i have to give it a more in depth listen.
