Who would it be?
This new "teaming up" trend in the NBA got me thinking about which 2 guys (I know some are doing 3-somes...but I'm sticking with 2) I'd take as a tandem for my franchise.
I'd go with Durant and Howard. It'd be way too sexy of a combo to pass up on imo.

and

sorry sonics fans....low blow, I know -
Lebron/Howard and it isn't close

Durant is a great scorer but he doesn't have the same game as LeBron.Give me the 6'9" guy who can run the point and will average 7+ assists per game making everybody around him better -
Ban him!
-
Durant > James
-
How many times you gonna post it bro?
To many good combos to choose just one. -
thread shouldn't be posted in cause it was posted sextuple times
-
brandon jennings and joakim noah
-
Billy Hoyle and Sidney Deane
-
Coach and player?
Norman Dale and Jimmy Chitwood -
LeBron vs Durant was were I struggled. I think I'd have to pack the middle with Howard regardless tho.
-
Neon Boudeaux and Butch McRae
-
LeBron and Deron Williams - keep it simple and take the 2 best players in da game
-
Jordan and Shaq
-
LeBron and Wade would be a pretty sick combo...
but yeah, Lebron and Howard is the correct answer here, and the incorrect answer is Brian Scalabrine and Greg Oden. -
Somebody whose never hurt...so scratch wade. Howard and Durant. I can get a serviceable pg.
-
Bird, Machale
-
Yah zepp is right...it's LeBron and Howard for me, too.
-
LOL that got a good laugh from me. Perhaps I overvalue a good point guard? Just always thought that if you wanted to start a team from scratch you'd pair a small ballhandler with a big man who can score. Always though point guard and forward or center was the best start to build your team from.
-
I agree, but don't you think Deron Williams would be a better combo PG than Paul?
-
both you guys would honestly leave off Lebron when starting a team....a guy who is avg. 29ppg, 7asg, 8rpg and is 27 ?!?!??! gotta be a level

fwiw pg and dwight would be my #2 option over durant and dwight....
oic Jroth, my b Dyz
Reason: ima fish, 2 many beers -
Dyz chose LeBron, just paired him with CP3 instead of Howard.
I just think CP3 is hurt too much to be in my top 2...and having him paired with LeBron is somewhat overkill, since LeBron can be a ballhandler/distributor. -
sfobv Love and Rubio
