    any predicitions, or trade rumors . ??? Jordan Staal to Blues ? or to Blues then to Hurricanes so he's with his brother. How about Peguins?

    Definitely anticipating the outcome. I have coached or coached against a number of the ontario '87/'88 born kids during regular & summer seasons, and am looking forward to seeing a number of them go high in the draft (fingers crossed). There are soooo many kids that aren't on the draft list that could/should be there given the rule changes that have taken place in hockey, but I guess old habits are hard to break for the old school scouts in terms of the criteria they look for.

    The most interesting thing so far is that 4 of the top 8 picks are Americans.

    1-5 picks were completly standard. Calgary makes waves with the Tanguay pick up. Looks like the Canucks were too busy patting themselves on the back for the Luongo trade to actually make an educated pick for themselves.

    LOL at Ovechkin, for a second I thought they were going to have to take the jersey off his back to give to their pick.
