    Democrats lose 35-40 seats in the House.

    Democrats lose 5 seats in the Senate.

    Indicators are lagging poll numbers for Obama, and his insistence on legislating Healthcare and Cap and Trade while doing zero for jobs and the Economy. Democrat pollsters are seeing red flags for next Novembers election. We will see. Al Gore quoted 75% chance Ice Caps will be non-existent in 5-6 years during the Summer months. I'm willing to say I'm 80% sure with my bold predictions. Let's hope 2010 is a good year.

    It's too early to make predictions for next November because so much of it will depend on where unemployment is.

    Having said that, I think Dems will lose about 20 seats in the House and maybe 1 or 2 in the Senate.

    Why would I need a job? The people who actually work can pay for my housing, food, and medical care. LOL suckers.

    I just hope Obama gets the medical care bill passed soon. I need some free xanax for my depression since I cant find a job.

    I read an article that in Illinois you can be on unemployment for almost two years!!!!!

    Yeah and get this...you get penalized for working in the middle of it too.

    My buddy who is in the laborers union was laid off and started drawing unemployment. About $550 every two weeks. Not too bad I guess. But obv being the hard working good citizen he is he looks hard for work. He finds a job that is temporary for about a month and gets laid off again. So its back to unemployment for him.

    Now time for his extension to come up since hes not back to work yet. So they refigure all the numbers and now because he worked for 1 month and made maybe 2k he now is only eligible for about $150 every couple weeks. Had he not worked at all he would still be getting the $550. Makes sense doesnt it? Good job Illinois..Good job Obama. Btw this guy has a child too.

    Finding temp. work while on unemployment is rather foolish. It really looks like a scam. But naw, just blame the government!

    I guess I should of clarified that he didnt know 100% that it was temp at the start. But Im pretty sure he thought the union would find him more work if that didnt work out.

    BTW part of the problem is what you just said. "Finding work on unemplyoment is rather foolish" shouldnt matter if its temp or not.

    How is it a scam? You cant draw unemployment if you are working full time and if you do they will find out.

    This whole comment makes me mad. Because the guy is on unemployment and looks for a job you think hes a scammer?? WTF this is the problem in this country.

    I said it looks like a scam. From the agency's viewpoint, he was no longer unemployed, and made from what you said is twice the amount he was receiving from unemployment. So going back a month later to unemployment and expecting the same compensation is naive as naturally they are going to adjust it given the new income. It's just a safeguard to protect an already derelict system from abuse.

    I don't know about 2010 but, I swear this is true and happened today, my brother in law came by and dropped off his 32inch tv, his sleepnumber bed, a dresser (coming later), and a huge livng room chair because he sold all his other stuff to move to Florida and camp until he finds a job (because his cat died) and believes the worlds ending in 2012 so he wants to live a little first. He stopped givng to his 401k a few years ago to get ready. He leaves Jan 1. He thinks he will get a job on a fishing charter boat although he has never been on an ocean going boat. We are in Colorado lol. I predict he pikes the first time on one and never gets on one again. The deal is he can't have his stuff back regardless. Lolllllll.
