This goes live tonight on ET! Looks great
Django Unchained full trailer... its worth having to watch the advertisment. -
Not sure what's more impressive, the trailer or the fact that you got a non-youtube video to embed.
-
Another new Expendables 2 trailer. Can't fucking wait for this action!
-
Wreck it Ralph looks pretty awesome. I love Pixar.
-
its june and i have watched a total of 4 movies this year... walked through the local video store and left empty handed everything they make now sucks or is so unbelievable i can't stand to sit and try to trick myself into being entertained.
-
Not to be rude but what are you opening yourself up to, what kind of movies are you looking for? This year is not over and alot of the better looking movies have yet to come out. PLus, I mean there are great movies that have come out within the past 5 years that I am sure you could watch if you were intrested. I just watched Ip Man on Netflix and thought it was wonderful. I normally just mess around on Netflix or record random movies off the TV and try to watch them.

Prometheus does not live up to expectations, supposedly. It's a bummer.
-
that is shitty to hear

Haven't seen it so I don't know, but 4 stars from ebert and a 66 on meta critic. Maybe not best of the year material but sounds like it will be good enough. -
I'm really disappointed by Snow White and the Huntsman getting such poor reviews. Those trailers had me hyped :(
-
ebert has a hard on for ridley scott. matchstick men was on his top ten one year and while its not a bad movie at all...top ten...lol

I don't trust ebert's 4 star movies, but I do trust that his 4 stars and a 66 meta critic means it is probably pretty good. Whether it is just average or much better is up to each person who sees it but I doubt it is just some piece of shit.

1939 called, told 2012 to gtfo.
-
The best answer probably is 1960. Breathless, Psycho, L'avvenutra, La dolce vita, The Virgin Spring, The Apartment
-
Taken 2 trailer
-
I loved Taken, but I'm not sure how I feel About them doing a sequel.

Just got back from Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and I really really really enjoyed it. For those of you who go though, tell me who you think is foreshadowed as the next 'vampire hunter' in the bar scene with the black man and the back of his head. :D
-
thats good news. think i am being dragged along to this tomorrow and really wasnt looking forwad to it at all

Spoilers fuckers, take dat, take dat. cambodian breast milk. -
Can't post it from my phone, but the trailer for Anna Kareinia dropped and looks great
-
I don't understand why anyone would look for one dude's opinion on a movie...soo much variance there. Same with metacritic. I still strongly believe that a movie on imdb with 25k + votes will accurately tell you (if you're familiar with how movies get rated on that site) far better than some old douche's star system or rotten tomatoes, etc.

8.1+ is either in the top 250 or right on the cusp.
7.5-8.0 = generally pretty good and almost always worth watching.
7.0-7.5 = usually solid but sometimes shit movies sneak in here.
6.0-7.0 = most movies with stuff like con air, independence day, and most comedies being in the high 6 range.
Prometheus is a 7.6 right now, basically exactly how you and everyone else has been describing it. Underwhelmed because they expected an 8.5 top 100 type movie but still decent.
leo is a my fav actor and foxx is prob in my top 10 and that trailer looked fucking retarded, fuck quentin tarantino man it's not 1995 anymore, he's too nerdy for me. Fuck his obsession with homages. -
I thought Inglorious Basterds was going to suck after the trailer so I learned not to judge his movie that way.

You can't express a great movie in a trailer but you can make a great trailer from a crap movie. -
true good point, I shall remain calm. Afterall, I thought Tree of Life was going to be the best movie of all time after the trailer.
-
killingbird would tell you the best movie ever made, but you've probably never heard of it.
