    The players don't walk the yardage tho. The caddies are used for all yardages and for where not to hit it. They are also there to help you with tough decisions like that one. Have to step up and do what Gmac did. I think his caddie has the tiger can hit anything mentality. Stevie wouldn't have let him hit that. Would have also calmed him on next hole.

    Why? He didn't move the ball. If he had the ball would have moved earlier. He was up the green when it moved. No penalty is the right call. Announcers are trying to find anything to make this enjoyable.

    Pretty sure the ruling they just put up was for on the green only. They changed that u can address it on green and it move and if u deem it that u didn't make it move, no penalty.

    Lots of older players put the club behind the ball before their practice swing. That's deemed to address. It moves after that, penalty. Scott never addressed it and he was also far from the ball to have made it moved. Good call. No penalty.
