The 1st item of business is to determine the draft order ASAP. The slot selection order is below, so please reply with your selection (and try to copy/paste the updated selections for the next guy). For the new guys, the order for one league will be reverse of the other. For example, selecting the #3 slot in the NL draft will mean you pick from the #8 slot in the AL, etc...

2011 Recap
Season 1 was very competitive throughout the year with 93-97 pulling away the final week of the season. 93-97 sat on top by a small margin for a majority of the season, but sat alongside BGX/PittProduct and BirdWings/Gateman in a virtual 3-way tie after Week 19. BGX/PittProduct then took control for the next 4 weeks while BW/Gate began to fall. MilBestDrnkr climbed into the race down the homestretch and 3 teams had a chance to win with 10 days to go, but in the end it was 93-97 taking down the inaugural title, with MilBest edging out BGX & PittProduct for 2nd place in the final few days.

So StopthatQuit has first choice at which NL & AL picks (obv one determines the other) he wants is that what that order means?
-
Hey this 'Milwaukees Best' (Adam's) buddy, and he told me there was one slot left open for the experts league. I'll take it if its still open. Thanks.

He told me a couple nights ago that he had a couple of buddies that wanted to do a team together... assuming that is you? -
Yea thats me. My buddy and I are going to co-own . He told me to leave my email address on here, assuming so I can receive the league invite.
-
Pckt Bullets is taking the last spot.
League is full unless Stopthatquit is no longer doing it. (I'm pretty sure everyone else is still in)
Will start an alternate list if anyone else is interested. -
Stopthatquit isn't able to participate, so RJA & DetUcf are up for 1st draft slot selection, followed by MilBestDrnkr. Let's try to get this order done in the next day or so if possible. So looks like we will have 9 teams this year, but if someone else still wants in, they can select their draft slot at that time.

in the interest of making this go quicker, I'll take either the AL 4th or AL 5th when it's my turn.

Good deal, see that you 2 got the invite worked out, so welcome back PGH.
Between this thread, a PM, and an email, we are going to have to move on selecting draft slots if I don't hear back from RJA or DetUcf in a few hours. MilBest has given me his selection(s), I'm ready with mine, and hopefully the rest will be periodically checking in today. At 10:00 PM EST tonight, I'm going allocate any remaining slots from #1-#5, alternating leagues, based on the order below.

Good Luck all, see ya tonight for the AL. -
My knowledge of National League baseball is something else...
-
Me and my partner are looking to trade some NL players for some AL help. We have absurd pitching with Halladay, Kershaw, Kennedy, Sanchez, Worley, Vogelsong, and Billingsley, plus the 2nd most saves/holds. All are available for the right trade. Hitters available include Bryce Harper, Freeman, Howard, Furcal, LaHair. Someone at least humor me with an offer.
-
What kind of AL help are you looking for? Interested in Freeman.
-
Starting pitching or hitting. We need both. Looking at your roster, I see you have Andrus and Andino, that's probably your surplus. We have Freeman starting now, with Ryan Howard expected back soon, and LaHair can play first. That's our surplus. I think we could work out some sort of deal there if you are interested. You can skype me if you want to discuss details, PM me if you can't guess my sn (it shouldn't be that hard.)

EDIT: Pretty sure we're going to want Andrus, I don't know if I like Andino that much. I didn't realize he was 28 years old. -
good luck trading pghfan. use war as platform. it will surely get you ahead. doubt it creates a trade opportunity for you though. you are the most out of your mind baseball fan on this forum. maybe these comments will push you to make a rash trade, go for it.
-
What are you talking about? Because I use tons of advanced stats? Or because I highlight the rare positive stories regarding my favorite team?
-
We're prolly interested in the same type of trade if you wanna take a look and offer something
