    I'm a huge fan of the people's ability to complain about potholes and crummy landlords. I just made a massive donation to the sewer foundation in recognition of this glorious day.

    311s a great band. Usually go to their shows on 311 day. Went to memphis about 5 years ago, new orleans 3 years ago, and vegas last year. They play a 311 minute set which is insane. But this year they had a carribean cruise and was a little too much, so just having the friends over to do some drinking, listen to them on a loop and play some cards. Good times! This is basically another holliday for me

    Not only is it 311 day, it is also my cars 9th birthday. I brought her home, brand new, 9 years ago to the day. I think I'm gonna celebrate with a long drive, blasting 311 the whole time obv. Who knows where I'll end up.

    yeah you won't forget that anniversary! Me and my wife got married on our 3 year 11 month dating anniversary, was a little coincidence but when we were throwing dates around and figured that out, it had to be done

    I listened to Grassroots all morning and just now decided to try the Pandora channel. The first song was All Mixed Up and then Badfish.

    They have a new album coming out around summer time too. I hope it's a little more on the heavy side than most of the newer stuff.

    They were my favorite band in 8th grade, i'm 26 now so it's been a while. Last time I saw them live was about 6-7 years ago when they played with G Love and Special Sauce right after Evolver had just come out. After that concert I can safely say they weren't close to my favorite anymore. Anyways they still have a few old songs that kick ass.

    There was one out of place like 45-50 year old woman on the ship who wasn't horrible looking for her age but still old and haggard esp when everyone on boat is 21-35ish. We come to find out she is on the cruise with her 26 year old daughter(who was hot) and her daughter's bastard son (like 9 or 10 little justin bieber looking kid). So she is a grandmother. Obviously, on the first night, my boy Derek gets hammered and despite the fact that slutty 26 year old was all over his nuts he ends up taking GILF back to the room late night...supposedly she blew him (and swallowed) twice but he refused to stick it in her, and this all took place in a cruise ship (aka super small) room with 3 passed out guys. We found her shirt and pants in the room the next AM so still not quite sure what she wore when he gave her the boot. Anyway, the sluttiness that was grandma became the ongoing joke of the trip and somehow we all resisted the urge to tell Bieber that his grandma loves to swallow.

    When we docked at Turks and Caicos, some nutjob jumped from his balcony (not sure what the height was exactly but had to be huge) and broke his leg and barely managed to make it to shore (where he was promptly arrested). Speculation was he was trippin balls...

    I met Venus Williams who was on the cruise and singing '80s karaoke. She was huge and seemed like a cunt.

    I smoked a J with Doug Benson the comedian who was funny as shit.

    I was standing about 3 feet from Tim Mahoney who's a ridonkulously underrated guitar player during the 1st show and have ridic vids of him.

    Stood with SA's wife at the first show and their baby who was cute as shit.

    Pepper sucks live.

    I was a big fan before the cruise but even bigger now. Never met a more accessible and down to earth band who's as successful as they are.

    apparently, they're playing a 4 day festival in south florida in August and will play the entire transistor album.
