    So we're in the middle of qualifying this week (putting everything out), and playing boulder ridge golf club today. In benign conditions, check out this card:



    *It is worth noting that we weren't able to play #12 (which is a tough par 4) because they were doing construction on the fairway (but c'mon, I probably would've birdied it anyways), so our coach told us just to take pars on that hole.

    Also got an invite to the Western Am early this week so I'm pretty stoked heading into the season.

    9/14 fairways but 16/18 GIR's - and only 23 putts - very impressive.

    yeah, I had a couple 62s on this par 70 course... funny thing is the longest putt I made today was a 20 footer from the fringe

    you, uh, played 7 consecutive holes in 20 total strokes, and it's not a par 3 course. sickness

    The Western Am is a big deal too... Jack, Tiger, Crenshaw, Phil all winners.

    Not if you have a good short game and a crappy long game! Won a Major at our club with 23 putts - 5 greens in regulation iirc. :) 12 h/c at the time playing to 7 on the day.

    yeah, sucks that I par'd 3 (missed 5 footer for bird) and 18. Got a bit unlucky on my teeshot on 18 to find the rough, chopped it into the greenside bunker... hit a marginal approach and left the putt on the lip for 60. Kinda sick knowing if I had made eagle I could've shot 59... def will help the confidence in tournaments when I get 5, 6 under par.
