Bull riding has to be pretty intimidating and OchoCinco, or is it Chad Johnson now, is going to give it a try.
If he can ride it for 8 seconds, he gets to rename the bull, an F-150 and 10k. I think he said he would call it Marvin Lewis. If he didnt show up, they were gonna name the bull after him.
VS network 10:00 - anyone think he can do it? Didnt see a post anywhere.
Reason: 10 cst, I assumed that was OTst -
what could go wrong? i hope this is awesome.
-
just a publicity stunt to keep his name relevant. He won't risk his earnings in the NFL by riding and getting hurt on a bull. My guess is he is receiving an appearance fee to show up to this thing and then of course does not ride it.
-
He's such an attention whore
-
i bet he rides. i dont think thats really even up for debate at this point. its too far along. they can give him a shitty bull though. he wont make it but i doubt they're gonna be putting him on Bodacious

the end is like when the deer runs away on Tommy Boy. -
I give him a lot of credit for the crap that he has been doing lately. It's driven by an irrational level of attention whoring but at least he's more entertaining than Shaq.
-
i say no chance he rides... i'd be shocked if he did....
it would be cool to see tbh -
I think he is going to ride it for sure. He posted a pic of his vest and bull on Twitter. Looks legit to me.
-
I think it's pretty cool. I wish more athletes were like him. He'll ride for sure.
I see it as pure entertainment and Chad keeping his name out there during the lockout. There will be plenty of people hoping the bull trounces his head in. I hope he makes the 8 though. -
The bull has a 70% buck rate, so doubt he stands a chance.
-
well he made it 1.5 seconds, but props to him for actually doing it...
'Ochocinco acknowledged that the Bengals probably weren't pleased that he was risking a career-threatening injury. "I'm sure my coach was probably (upset),'' Ochocinco said. "I mean, I would be, too. I'm sure the NFL is (upset), but I don't follow their rules anyway.'''
-
1.5, lol, and it actually looked like he just fell off. Well done Chad

you dont really make it to 1.5 seconds.
-
if chad can involved in a few more events he could be the greatest athlete ever
-
im surprised the Bengals even let him do it, last I checked they arent paying him millions of dollars to potentially end his season (if there is one)
-
What's next? I got him competing in a triathalon next in the office pool!
-
they aren't paying him anything seeing as how he's locked out.
-
He said on Twitter he got $210k after endorsements, they're giving away the pick up truck, and that he now feels pro bull riders should be the highest paid athletes in the world.
-
1.5 after all that hype? That is just embarrassing and an obvious publicity farce.
-
what did you expect?
-
you realize its kind of hard to hang on to a 1500 pound animal with no real training?
Edited By: XXEDPXX May 15th, 2011 at 09:44 AM
i wasnt trying to be an asshole. i was with what i said above this but what i orignally said wasnt meant to be. obviously it was a publicity stunt. like that was ever in question? -
=douchebag. and that wasn't 1.5 seconds. -
Whuah?
-
so you thought he was just gonna jump on a bull and use his superior athletic ability to ride it for 8 seconds? you also didnt realize from the second you heard about this it was an obvious publicity stunt? did you think he was gonna actually become a professional bull rider or something?
Edited By: XXEDPXX May 15th, 2011 at 09:51 AM
what happened was exactly how it was supposed to go down. not sure what you expected
but feel free to keep arguing with me
