    The movie sucked but it wasn't the worst movie of all time. It just sucked.

    Adventureland was filmed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2007, with most scenes shot in Kennywood, a historic amusement park in nearby West Mifflin, Pennsylvania.<SUP class=reference id=cite_ref-0><SPAN>[</SPAN>1<SPAN>]</SPAN></SUP> The theme park from the film is based on the Farmingdale, New York amusement park Adventureland where Mottola worked in the 1980s.

    Well, I guess that's testament to how bad this movie must've been if it was about fucking Adventureland in the next town over and nobody around here even realized it.

    Damn I had high hopes for this movie, I havent seen it yet but wanted to. Also another movie I was really disappointed in was Observe and Report with the Jewfro guy Seth Rogan. There were some moments but otherwise the movie was quite lame...

    The main guy acted too much like Michael Cera (though it's possible the role was originally written for Cera), and I found that pretty annoying. Other than that I really had no problems with the movie. I enjoyed it.
