    Get Borderlands, now. This game got absolutely no hype whatsoever, and holy fuck is it awesome! I just got it, and it's bad.ass. For those that do not know, this is one of the first "RPG-FPS" games. It has character classes, EXP, skill trees, etc., all like Diablo II, except it's FPS.

    Same style of random generation of guns/equipment as Diablo II, creating and generating thousands upon thousands of different variants of weaponry. They made the world in the same random creature spawn generation.

    The aspect that makes this game so good, too, is that its co-op 2-4 players on Live. No, not just a "invite your friends" co-op, its "match search" generation of games hosted by ANYONE. Almost exactly the same as Diablo II games were played online. This means each game you create, bosses are re-spawned (I think, haven't tried it yet), etc. etc.

    Please, if you liked Diablo II, at LEAST go rent this game and see if you like it. It's pure action right from the start, and just gets better.

    Picked it up on my way home from work, been playing for the last few hours and I absolutely love this game. I havent even got into the co-op yet and it is already well worth my money.

    It was retailing for $40 at Futureshop, Bestbuy, and Walmart here in Canada, but ofc every fucking place was sold out. Blockbuster said they had 3 copies at $70 so I went up to get one, ofc they somehow couldn't find them when I got there. I ended up ordering it from someone off eBay w/ free shipping, so hopefully I'll have it by Monday at the latest, but I see me spending a ton of hours maxing out each class in this game :P

    i'm in the same boat. i used to play D2 constantly, but now i find it hard to get into a video game anymore other than random sports games.

    game does sound v sick though, might have to check it out anyway

    I got it last night, its pretty sick. Its a lot like Fallout 3... But you get to drive vehicles... Guns are pretty amazing. CynicdarK on XBL hit me UP!

    I know I know Dave, but it's taken them what, 3 years to put up a website? Another year to put up previews of 3 of the 5 classes? No offense, but Blizzard has a VEERRRRRYYYY long "development" time with their games.
