    why do people hate iverson? Cuz he doesn't like to practice? shut the fuck up. He was on the worst team in the league his whole infancy and entire prime and never pulled a hissy fit like kobe or lebron. Hell, he brought a team with matt geiger and eric snow to the fucking finals and I think he even won a game, better than lebron could say with the cavs.

    The people hating Iverson have absolutely 0 reason to. They are just haters. The man is fuckin awesome. God forbid he didn't think practicing with George Lynch, Aaron McKie, Matt Geiger, and Eric Snow was going to improve his game that much. And the MEDIA was making a huge deal out of his missing a practice....GIVE ME A BREAK. The guy had some of the best handle I've ever seen on a court and could shoot lights out.

    (worst team in the league is pretty laughable though, George Lynch could have been the best defensive player in the league, not to mention Dikembe Mutombo (sp) and McKie was 6th man of the year).

    Basketball = one of the best small scoring guards ever.

    Life = douche bag.

    They are not mutually exclusive. Just bc he was great a game doesn't mean he has been great at life. I personally do not like him because of the years of stories about his off court antics. I think that he is an immature person who surrounds himself with other immature people. I also think he was a sick ball player. It is not a mutually exclusive world, or one or the other.
